I purchased Saft, a plug-in for the Safari web browser on Mac OS X, a while back, after using the demo version for a couple days. The two features I used immediately and loved were:

Saving open windows and tabs across quits of Safari (normally Safari forgets all your open windows and tabs, and restarts at your home page)

Saving a full page as a PDF (as opposed to doing a Save as PDF in the print dialog, which breaks a long page into multiple pages, with no control over where the breaks are)

I’ve also used the search in bookmarks and search in history features, which have been tremendous time-savers on the occasions I’ve needed it.

But this week, Saft became truly amazing and indispensable, especially considering the ridiculously low price of $12. Now you can re-order your tabs by drag-and-drop! Just grab a tab, and move it where you want it.

Saft is so well-integrated into Safari that you’ll forget it’s there, assuming that Apple made Safari a whole lot better. But once you get used to it, if you use Safari on a Mac without it, you’ll notice it pretty quickly! Highly recommended.
Copyright © 2012 by Aldoblog.
